The Crisis Center is providing holiday gifts for 67 families this year. Thank you to all of you who have generously and kindly made a donation already, and to those of you who plan to do so. Cora is happy to pick up donations until the AAUW holiday luncheon on 12/11/2021.
AAUW NORTH HILLS BRANCH HOLIDAY GIFT CARD DRIVE
WHO BENEFITS?
The gift cards will be given to:
victims/survivors of domestic violence and their children under age 18 years;
who are receiving victims’ services through Crisis Center North (CCN).
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Safely purchase gift cards for use at:
- grocery stores
- bakeries, coffee shops, or restaurants
- clothing stores
- department stores like Target, Kohl’s or Wal-Mart
- online retailers like Amazon
Please note the card value on its envelope or attached card.

Cora will coordinate safe pick-up/delivery of gifts to CCN.
All gift cards will be delivered to CCN by 12/10/2021.
HOW WILL YOUR DONATED GIFT CARDS BE USED?
CCN hopes to host a live gift shop event. If COVID-19 precludes doing so,
CCN counselors will distribute gift cards to individual clients.
To do so, they will use a safe, private, no-contact delivery method.
We honor cultural diversity, respect religious freedom, and value traditions. Recipients will use the cards to celebrate the holiday of their choice with their children or other loved ones.
