Meet the Authors

Maria Farina

Maria Farina is a graduate of the Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Upon graduation, Maria worked as an On-Air Personality on Cleveland radio stations for over 20 years. Since her radio days, Maria has become a successful voice actor and lives a creative life, as much as she can. She draws, paints, performs in a community band, plays the piano and is learning the cello.

She is the author of a cozy Supernatural Murder Mystery series called, The Gypsy Chronicles. This includes the books, Grave Robber, Grave Talk and the third book, Grave Meeting, which she is currently writing. The books take place in one of Maria’s favorite boroughs of Pittsburgh, Sewickley.  When she’s not at her wonderfully cluttered desk, creating something,  you can find her taking long car rides, talking and laughing with her husband, Mike.

Sherri Lee Fisher

“Strong Women Rock” is  S. Lee Fisher’s life mission statement, a childhood lesson from her mother. The lesson hit its target.

Fisher, aka Dr. “P.,” a clinical pharmacist, was born and raised in “small town” Pennsylvania. After moving to Pittsburgh, she enjoyed a successful corporate career managing retrospective clinical programs for the PBM side of a Fortune 20 company.

Fisher began writing fiction in 2018 as a means of channeling the pain and grief of her father’s passing. Verbalizing emotions and human interaction helped her cope with his death. In the process, she discovered that she enjoys the creativity of telling relationship-based stories that center around strong women. Fisher creates well-developed quirky characters that the reader both loves and hates simultaneously.

Redefined as a full-time novelist, she enjoys multi-award-winning writing as a second career. Fisher lives on the gulf coast of Florida with her husband of 39 years, Ralph. When she’s not writing or dodging hurricanes, she enjoys painting watercolors, clothing design, sewing, ballroom dancing, and swimming. Connect with her at sleefisher@sleefisher.com.
