Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Cities for CEDAW
There will be a contribution to the upcoming Summit of the Future by the United Nations and onwards to Beijing +30 by the following team of Cities for CEDAW advocates; (Soon-Young Yoon, Jessica Pierson, Michaela Jamelska, Mary Ruth Joyce Fajardo, Jill Follows, Mateo Gonzalez, @Stuti Jain). They developed a fantastic advocacy project, including a virtual gallery, that highlights how digital technology can effectively intersect with and empower human rights, especially women’s rights by amplifying voices. There is an Action Day on September 21, 2024.
AAUW North Hills Pittsburgh encourages everyone who knows young people passionate about women’s rights to share this Cities for CEDAW project with them. It’s a great opportunity for them to participate and be featured in the virtual gallery.
